I can't believe in three days we are leaving for Vietnam. I think it's finally starting to sink in. My mind seems to race at lightning speed and of course my to do list seems like a mile long. I'm sure by the time we actually get the airport I'll be glad to sit back and relax a bit.
Our bags are packed and ready to go. I gave up trying to get everything packed into two suitcases so three it is. We have one suitcase packed full of donations for the kids. I'm so excited to be able to bring a lot of stuff to the kids at the center. It will definitely be a highlight of our trip.
And exactly a week from today we will have met Bennett for the first time. We are still trying to wrap our brains around that. I just hope I can focus enough to soak it all in and then write about. I don't want to forget a single second of our first meeting.

I don't know how you can contain yourself enough to write a sentence! I think I will be a nervous wreck when we are finally that close to travel. Good luck finding ways to pass the time these next few days! Safe travels!
I was busting out into tears every 1/2 hour or so at this point in our journey. You seem to be doing so MUCH better!
I.can.not.WAIT to see you with that boy!!!
I'm so excited! And I think I like it! I'm channeling bad songs from the 70s!!! You're going to Vietnam - whooooooooo!
I still think you're hillarious to be hitting the Black Friday sales before you leave :)
OH!!! Too exciting!!! I can't wait to follow your journey!!! It's going to be FABULOUS! Don't worry about your lists...you can buy anything in HCMC.

Lists - with two suitcases you are overpacked. We also had one for the donations. Don't forget the yard trash bag so you can put the donations in that and keep your suitcase for souveniers. Sit back now and relax, enjoy Thanksgiving and the sales on Friday because your shopping adventures will never be the same again. Also - leave a winter coat / blanket in Bennett's carseat. Joseph can not handle the cold and it is mild here.
Here's to safe travels and internet connectivity. I will be glued to the screen!
